ENDPOINT

It couldn’t be acceptable and forgivable but it has to happen for a moral what’s-it that went with that know-how. Now, the people around the globe thought of all the issues in the sovereign country, as the Philippines, as anything interchangeable. The newly appointed DENR Secretary, Gina Lopez known to be part of ABS CBN is proving the nation that the president has truly picked a functional and unbiased part of his people. Lopez was an anti-mining advocate before. She had projects with the network that opposed her position in these marked times. Lopez reiterated in one of her interviews that she is not against mining but the suffering of the people in mining communities, as she continually saying this line as a defense to her upshot. Thinking about swipe-swap is not that dissipated as it is but it has to take courage to build new hopes in the mining industry. Her explanation on the defensive way of saving the people for the suffering that mining can give us will convince people on being responsible miners. Hence, this cannot control us from using the product of mining, what I mean is everything has been part of the catch and she can just enhance what was given. By then our community will be saved for having proper measures and actions. She further believes that the Philippine Mining Act should be changed because it is for her an "unfair" law that skewed towards the mining sectors not towards the people of our country. Environmental groups have also called on the policy makers to repeal the Mining Act 1995. They wanted to have a more appropriate law that will protect the rights of Filipino mining workers, local communities and state interests. It couldn’t be that great that the workers compensation was not even half of the earnings of the sectors; it seemed to have nothing at all. As of now, Lopez immediately ordered an audit to all existing mines in the PH. A week after the audit, 4 mining companies was suspended for violating environmental standards. She even stated in an interview before that though there are pending mining projects in the Aquino administration that is favorable but not with the environmental standards it will be stopped and go with the legal proceedings about it. For the clarity of her own stand, Lopez, in her message during the leadership turnover had given a presentation showing data on the contrary effects of mining operations in some areas in the Philippines-- the poorest areas in the Philippines are mining areas. In this point, birds cannot flock together because they have the same feathers but one must have an assessment to make. It is between a pros and cons of being a good environmentalist or a good leader to her country.
