LCC Leadership Congress talks new possibilities to Bicolano students
New possibilities were opened to more than 7000 Bicolano students as speakers from all over the country shared their inspiring stories about the business industry during the 6th LCC leadership and career congress which was held at the Ibalong Centrum for Recreation, Thursday, September 22, 2016.
The purpose of the event is to develop the potential of students and young professionals through various talks and activities that will inspire them to become future leaders.
"It [the event] will help them to realize more that there is a bright future in the Philippines and that they can achieve great things even if they stay in their own country", said Jean Cordez, the event marketing officer.
She added that the congress will surely help the millennials and other participants from different schools to be motivated all throughout their lives.
Mayor Noel Rosal gave a short speech to the students to finally open the event. He said it was organized to provide opportunities to everyone especially for graduating students in their chosen field and to prepare for their future career path.
The first speaker was Margaret Yunque, who currently leads Market and Solutions Development Team, was first to deliver her talk about the digital life;
The second speakers were the couple Rosiel and Rudy de Leon who started their business on ice candy, and called it "From P20 to Multi-Million Possibilities";
The third speaker was Karen Aira Morales who works as the live administrator of Philippine Airlines Express with the topic "Social Graces”. She shared her expertise as a cabin crew, as well as the trainings and services on how to become one.
Michael Angelo Lobrin is a brand endorser, an actor comedian and author of the book “Laugh with God Today!”, who was also present that day. He graced the event with his humor and talked about the gift of the millenials.
Mike Grogan, an international speaker and the author of the bestselling book, “The Rise of the Pinoy: 7 Powerful Forms of Success from 21 World Class Filipinos” also shared his own story and why he still believed in the Philippines. Grogan also believed that Filipinos can achieve their own dreams in our very own homeland.
The ICR was jampacked with students which the organizer said was bigger in number this year than they expected.
